Introduction
In a normal situation, if a gift voucher has already been redeemed, it means that the recipient has used the voucher to make a purchase or transaction. In most cases, it is not possible to "un-redeem" a gift voucher, as the transaction is considered final and the voucher balance is no longer available for use.
However, if there is a valid reason for un-redeeming a gift voucher, such as an accidental or fraudulent redemption, here is what you can do:
- top up the balance that got accidentally redeemed
- or contact VaocherApp's support
Top Up Balance
The simplest way to "undo" the redemption is to add back the balance so the gift voucher credit remains the same. To do so, follow our instruction in How to add credit to gift voucher
Please note that:
- adding back the credit won't impact your account reporting (e.g. the total unredeemed amount)
- however, you may see multiple redeeming attempts in your Redemption Report page
