Lightspeed Restaurant (K-Series) – Issue New Gift Vouchers from the POS

With the Lightspeed Restaurant (K-Series) integration, staff can create and issue VaocherApp gift vouchers directly from the POS.

This is useful for customers who purchase vouchers in-store or request a physical voucher during their visit.

Before issuing a voucher

Make sure:

• Lightspeed Restaurant (K-Series) is connected to VaocherApp.
• Real-Time Notifications (RTN) are enabled.
• The Gift Card item has been configured correctly.

Create a gift voucher from Lightspeed POS

To issue a new voucher:

1. Open Lightspeed POS.
2. Select the Gift Cards button.
3. Enter the voucher value.
4. Enter the customer’s email address.
5. Complete the payment.

Once the transaction is completed:

• The voucher is created in VaocherApp.
• The voucher balance is recorded.
• The customer automatically receives the voucher by email.

Example

A customer purchases a $150 gift voucher at your venue.

Your staff creates the voucher through Lightspeed POS.

VaocherApp automatically creates the voucher and sends it to the customer’s email address.

The customer can later redeem the voucher through Lightspeed POS.
